Beauty School Dropout Indianapolis Concert reviews
Need better sound check
The concert was visually great, with Rachel Patton joining Beauty School Dropout for a fantastic rendition of Jolene. Best sound was without mics at the end and songs using very little beatbox and bass. Unfortunately, Beauty School Dropout used too much bass amplification, making it hard to hear the harmonies. The opening acts, Rachel Patton and Citizen Queen, were loved. No problem like that with the opening acts, so it had to be wrong settings in sound check or they wanted it to be distorted from over amplification. Electric cello was a nice addition to the mix, with a fantastic performance of Bohemian Rhapsody and The Boxer.
